The SMART range of products have been developed to provide you with the maximum amount of energy and water savings, as well as making the control of the pool a simple exercise. During the circulation and cleaning process, to provide the healthiest water possible the water must be passed through a sanitation process. Many options have been tried and are available within the Australian market, but the most popular and proven is by far Salt Chlorination. Salt Chlorination works by adding a small amount of pool salt to the water, less than 4% or similar to a teardrop. This salted water is then passed through a chlorinator cell which produces a chlorine gas that effectively kills the bacteria in the swimming pool water. The SMART Salt Chlorinator has been developed to continuously generate the precise level of chlorine required for your pool. With the convenience of a touch pad and a digital display the output level can be adjusted and operating hours can be preset to your requirements.
The SMART Chlorinator Cell has a self cleaning ability to virtually eliminate any maintenance and is perfect for any of the Leisure Pools range. Some additional SMART features, including a ‘no-flow protection’ that will protect your pump by turning it off should the chlorinator cell sense no water flowing through the system.
This protects the investment in the pump by allowing the problem to be fixed before any further damage is encountered. A ‘Safety Backwash’ button is also available for use when coupled with a SMART Sand Filter. This limits the backwash time up to 3 minutes and saves on valuable water being wasted if not necessary.
